This parts of speech grammar game will be the perfect addition to your literacy rotations in Grade 1, 2 and 3.

This differentiated no-prep literacy game has two levels and can be played in partners or small groups to help students develop their understanding of the different parts of speech.

  • 12 x task cards for Level 1

HOW TO PLAY:

  • Player 1 reads a word from his/her question card. Player 2 must say whether the word is a noun/verb/adjective etc.
  • If the answer is correct, Player 2 moves their counter one space along their game board.
  • If the answer is incorrect, they remain where they are.
  • Winner is the first person to get their monster home to bed.
