This schwa lesson activity can be used to consolidate an understanding of schwa. Students will interact with schwa words as they play this interactive phonics game, and will find the schwa in different multisyllabic words.

How to use:
Students roll the dice and identify the schwa sound/s in a word from that column. If the activity is laminated or in a wipe mat, they could also underline the schwa sound.
Once they have identified the schwa, students can place a counter on top of the word. Aim of the game could either be to get 3 or 4 in a row, a full row, or to fill the entire board.
