Unicorn Classroom Visit with Google 3D

Tam Milledge·Teaching·2 minute read

The day a unicorn came to our classroom was a VERY exciting day!

I created these images using the Google 3D in the Google App. Download the Google App onto your phone. Search 'unicorn' and then click 'view in space'. This make take a couple of minutes to load, but it will then insert the unicorn into your space. It can take a few goes to get the unicorn into the correct position.

You can see more about how I made these photos on my Instagram Reel here.

The kids came to school to find photos of our unicorn visitor all around the classroom, and an almighty unicorn-y mess...!

It led to some fantastic descriptive writing.

Our unicorn classroom visitor was also an excellent way of bridging between our informative texts unit and our imaginative texts unit.
