Get students up and moving as they hunt for hundredths grid cards hidden around the classroom and record the decimal each one represents.
Students search for the numbered cards, read the shaded hundredths grid, and write the matching decimal on their recording sheet — either in decimal notation or in words (e.g. 4 tenths and 5 hundredths). Answer cards showing both the decimal notation and word form can be hidden alongside the grid cards to provide scaffolding for students who need it.
What's included:
24 hundredths grid cards (coloured and black & white versions)
3 differentiated recording sheet templates: 6-box, 9-box, and 12-box versions
Answer cards showing decimal notation and word form (tenths and hundredths) for all cards — can be used as a teacher answer key or hidden around the room for extra scaffolding
