Get students up and moving as they search the room for cause-and-effect sentence cards in this Write the Room activity. Sentence cards are placed around the classroom for students to find. Once they locate each card, they write a possible cause or effect to complete the statement on their recording template.
Two versions are included for flexible use — one where students write an effect for a given cause, and one where they write a cause for a given effect. Three differentiated recording templates mean you can adjust the number of sentences students search for based on their readiness.
