Are you looking for colourful classroom decor that's intentionally designed to engage your students and create a classroom learning environment that your students will love? The Kutopia Collection, inspired by the world of Kutopia and brought to life by Australian artist Kasey Rainbow, features a soft watercolour rainbow palette and a cast of critters, each with their own unique personality and charm.
Use these watercolour rainbow decor schedule cards to create a rainbow theme visual timetable. Visual schedule cards are essential visual aids for children in the early years, as well as for students with anxiety or other learning needs. The visual nature of the schedule cards allows all students to know what their day will involve, regardless of whether or not they can read.
This visual timetable includes over 250 daily classroom activities and will allow you to display a visual outline for the school day so that your children will be able to keep track of their day.
A variety of colour schemes & headers are included. As this is a large document, a hyperlinked contents page ensures easy navigation!
Includes an EDITABLE POWERPOINT FILE where you can adjust the text wording or font.
Printing tip: to print the desk plates in a smaller size, save the PowerPoint file as a PDF, then print labels at either half size, or a smaller percentage (e.g. 70%, 80%, 90%)
Cutting tip: These labels have a subtle curve around the edges. If you would prefer an easier cutting option, the curve is subtle enough that you can simply cut with straight edges instead.
LOOKING FOR AN EVEN SIMPLER SOLUTION?
Visual timetables can be time-consuming to maintain. Not only can they require a lot of initial preparation to cut and create, but they can also be fiddly to change over each day and crucial pieces of the timetable can sometimes be misplaced. And, often our days end up being completely shuffled around anyway! #teacherlife
Introducing The Hive’s Visual Timetable
The Hive ONLINE visual timetable is completely customisable and editable, making it the perfect tool for your classroom.
You can easily add, remove, or edit activities to suit your needs. Items can be dragged and dropped within each day's school schedule, meaning that you can easily move things around if things change! You can add digital times and/or timers for each part of your daily routine.
Customise your own visual timetable by:
Choosing your own images from our large bank of clip arts (or you can add your own images too!)
Assigning different colours to each of your subject areas, or individual items. All your colour-coordination dreams come true!
Link to EVERYTHING you need for your teaching day:
You can link to your lesson plans, slides or lesson resources in every section of your day. You can also link to websites, Google Classroom, as well as to videos, learning apps and more. Plus you can add teaching notes to help keep you on track.
And, the best bit is, once you've set it up, it will save each day's schedule so that you can use it week in and week out for the whole year, making tweaks as and when needed.
If you're not tech-savvy, don't worry. We have videos and how-to guides which walk you through the simple steps that you need to follow in order to get your timetable and weekly schedule set up in very little time.
