The Master Mission gives students a ticket with locks to unlock — each time they complete an activity, they receive a stamp or sticker on their ticket. The aim is to unlock all the locks and complete the mission. Tickets come in 3, 4, or 5 lock versions so you can adjust the number of activities required.
Five different activities are included, covering identifying verb groups and types, completing verb sentence openers, choosing stronger verbs, writing original sentences, and applying verb knowledge in a connected text.

The Zoo Adventure passage — a short text containing verbs, verb groups, and action verb sentence openers throughout; students highlight these features then rewrite two sentences using more precise verbs
Write your own — students write their own sentences using a thinking, feeling, saying, and action verb group
