Introduce angles as turns with this set of teaching slides. Students learn that an angle is the gap made as one arm turns away from the other, including clockwise and anti-clockwise turns, then compare each angle type to a quarter-turn: acute, right, obtuse, straight, reflex and revolution. Angle Check practice slides let students identify each type, and an Angle Charades game has partners act out angles with their arms and record each other’s guesses.

What’s included:

  • Teaching slides covering turns, quarter-turns and 6 angle types

  • 5 practice slides

  • Angle Charades game with recording sheet
