Toys in my Toybox Data Activity

This activity introduces students to sorting, classifying and tallying data using everyday objects.

Ask students to think of categories that these toys could be sorted into, such as: dolls, animals, transport, sport, technology. Students allocate a colour to each category and tally the results.

Includes both open-ended and scaffolded templates to suit a range of abilities.
