This pack includes everything you need to introduce the various elements of Time, including reading an analogue clock, a digital clock, am and pm, 24 hour time and converting between them. This is a resource that can be used for all year levels in some way.
The various A4 clocks show how to tell the time- (analogue vocabulary, digital, 24-hour) and are blank so they can be used in multiple ways. Each can be printed a number of times to focus on a specific area of Time and students can use whiteboard markers or concrete materials to add and represent the hands and digital numbers. This allows for student-led learning and working with peers.
There is opportunity to convert between analogue clocks and digital, and also to distinguish between am and pm and 24-hour time.
This pack also includes 120 small activity cards to allow students to practice using these skills of reading and representing various times. Perfect to use in Maths groups!
This resource focuses on five-minute time intervals, however the blank activity cards can be used to extend students to one-minute intervals.
