Are you looking for a low-prep game to give students practice identifying and using subordinating conjunctions? Players spin the spinner to land on a subordinating conjunction, then find and cover a sentence on the board that could use that conjunction. The first player to cover four sentences in a row wins.
This resource includes two versions — one for each teaching sequence — so you can use whichever set of conjunctions your students are currently working with, or both across a unit. With 6 different boards per version, the game can be played repeatedly across a unit.
What's included:
Version 1: I SAW A WABUB
6 different game boards in colour, each with a unique set of sentences and a built-in spinner (if, since, although, as, while, when, after, before, until, because)
Black and white versions
