These posters allow students to differentiate between reported and direct speech and highlight the rules to follow when punctuating direct speech. Each poster has an example to show students various elements when using speech in their writing. The activity cards have different scenarios that the students can write about, using reported or direct speech. These can be used as prompts for story writing or as a focus activity on speech punctuation.
