Shades of Meaning- Emotions

$2.00
Determining access to resource...

These posters can be used to display in your classroom or used by students during independent or group activities.

They display synonyms for various emotional states, displaying them in levels of meaning. The bottom level shows words that are similar to the emotion, but are synonymous and expose students to an expanded vocabulary. The middle layer displays words that have a stronger meaning and the top level shows expressions or idioms that represent that emotion.

These are great for students to access during writing activities and allow for a deeper understanding of synonyms and how they can be used to describe ones thoughts or feelings.

These posters print out 2 per A4 page or can be enlarged to A3.
