This resource includes 10 game boards that will help to consolidate early phonics skills through the use of decodable phrases and simple high-frequency words. They are no prep for you -- just print and go!
HOW TO USE:
Students roll the dice 4 times, and each time record the corresponding phrase or word from that column. They will end up creating a silly decodable sentence. 2 designs are included, with and without shaded columns to help scaffold students.
There are 10 different mats included so with words containing the following digraphs:
SET A:
- ch words
- th words
- sh words
- wh words
SET B:
- ll words
- ss words
- zz words
- ff words
- ck words
SET C:
- ng words
- qu words
- words with x (not a digraph but included here because of its complexity)
SET D is a mix of all of the above common consonant digraphs
