Using centimetre cubes, build different prisms with the given number of cubes. Record each prism and calculate the volume in cubic centimetres. Then compare the prisms to determine whether the volumes are the same or different.
This activity encourages students to investigate how the arrangement of cubes changes the shape of a prism while maintaining the same total volume.
