Get students up and moving as they identify the correct subordinating conjunction for each sentence in this Read the Room activity. Six pages of conjunction tabs are placed around the classroom. Students walk the room, find the correct conjunction for each sentence, tear off a tab, and glue it onto their recording sheet. An option to write the conjunction is also included. Word tabs are included for up to 27 students — print a second set for larger classes.
This resource includes two versions — one for each teaching sequence — so you can use whichever set of conjunctions your students are currently working with, or both across a unit.
