Get students up and moving as they identify the correct coordinating conjunction for each sentence in this Read the Room activity. Six pages of conjunction tabs (and, but, or, nor, yet, so, for) are placed around the classroom. Students walk the room, find the correct conjunction for each sentence, tear off a tab, glue it onto their recording sheet, and write the conjunction in the space provided. Word tabs are included for up to 27 students — print a second set for larger classes.
