Get students up and moving as they identify and classify adverbial phrases in this Read the Room activity. Six pages of adverb type tabs (when, where, how, why, how often) are placed around the classroom. Students walk the room, find the correct type for each sentence, tear off a tab, glue it onto their recording sheet, and underline the adverbial phrase. Word tabs are included for up to 27 students — print a second set for larger classes.
