These small activity cards are perfect for reinforcing the decoding of words with short vowel sounds and consonants. There are 20 cards for each short vowel- a, e, i, o, u- some CVC and some CVCC words.
The rainbows are designed so students can trace with their finger or use something concrete, as they sound out each phoneme and then blend together to read the word in full. There is also space to write the word or make it using concrete letters to reinforce the spelling of the word. Such a fun activity for Literacy groups.
