Practise using compass directions with this Compass Connect 4 game. Students choose a starting square, spin a direction and a number, then move that many squares and place a counter. If they can’t stay on the grid, they skip their turn. First to connect 4 in a row wins.

What’s included:

  • Version 1 - 6 coloured mats using north, south, east and west, with moves of 1 to 3 squares

  • Version 2 - 6 coloured mats that add north-east, north-west, south-east and south-west, with moves of 1 to 6 squares
