Students take a task card and read the number in the sun. They make that number of petals out of playdough, then share their playdough petals equally on the displayed flower stems.
Includes 9 different templates for students to share into 4 groups (numbers in the sun are all multiples of four, so there will be no remainders)
Each template also comes in black & white - these could be used as consolidation worksheets.
This activity is included in The Hive's Math program for Representing Division (Grades 1 & 2).
