Paper Chains to 10 - using 5 as a reference

Only in The Hive
Determining access to resource...
Create paper chains for 1-5 in one colour.

For numbers 6-10, use the same colour for the first 5 strips, then swap to a second colour for the additional strips.

This will help children to see numbers 6-10 in relation to the number 5. For example: 5 and 2 makes 7.

Different alternatives are included for numbers 6-10:
  • 5 and ___ makes ___
  • 5 + __ = __
Black and white versions are also included.
