These posters encourage the use of varied vocabulary in students writing. They allow students to access a bank of words to enhance sentence writing when creating informative or imaginative texts. Students are introduced to different types of nouns- person, place, thing, quality, action and idea. Adjectives are organised into physical attributes to assist with descriptive language. The Verbs poster distinguishes between past, present and future tense and the Adverbs poster helps students understand when to use various adverbs- when describing how, when, where and how often.
These posters print out A4 in size.
