This resource is inside The Hive, along with thousands more, plus powerful digital tools and time-saving systems.

In this two-player game, students secretly fill each other's bag with counters, then draw and record outcomes 12 times to gather evidence before guessing how many of each colour are inside. The closest guess wins.

How to play:

  • Each player secretly places 4 counters into their partner's bag

  • Players draw from their own bag 12 times, recording each outcome and returning the counter after every turn

  • After 12 draws, players use their results to guess how many of each colour are in the bag

  • Both players reveal their counters and compare guesses

What's included:

  • 4 recording templates with pre-filled colour options (2 copies per template)

  • Open-ended template for students to choose their own colours

  • US spelling version also included
