Are you teaching your students to identify left and right? This left and right interactive game will help students to practise their ability to correctly identify left and right.

HOW TO PLAY:

Each player gets their own board with the aim to fill it with counters (to make sure they are facing the correct way to the page for left and right to be accurate).

Students take turns either spinning a paperclip spinner to determine whether they land on left or right, or roll a dice with 1, 2, 3 = left and 4, 5, 6 = right. Each time they land on left or right, they add a counter to that side of their game board. If they run out of spaces on a side, they will have to miss a turn.

INCLUDED:
  • Left and right game board - colour + black & white
  • Left and right spinners - colour + black & white
This activity is included in The Hive’s Maths program for POSITION: Part 1 (Kindergarten/Foundation). You'll also find plenty more position lessons & activities at hive.mrslearningbee.com.
