Are you teaching students to orthographically map Long Vowel U words? This decodable word mapping mats are a low-prep phonics activity which can be used to consolidate early phonics skills. Students can blend and segment a wide variety of long vowel u words with 3 and 4 sounds (all common spellings included). 

Students complete the following steps for each long vowel u word:
  • Say the word
  • Tap the word
