Build CVC decoding skills and reading fluency with these Kindergarten phonics passages. There are 16 different sets of short vowel CVC, CVCC and CVCC word lists.
Two different templates are included:
- Timed challenges- students read the words 3 times and record their score
- Non-timer pages- students are encouraged to read the page as smoothly and accurately as possible
2 pages of CVC words are included for each of the short vowel sounds (10 in total)

1 page of CVCC/CVCC words are included for each of the short vowel sounds (5 in total)
An additional mixed challenge page is also included with 5 sound words (a mix of all short vowel sounds).
