Students sort fraction cards showing coloured length models into the correct category on the sorting template — matching each visual representation to the fraction it shows. Length models are shown in a variety of orientations, which means students need to look carefully at the proportion of the length that is coloured rather than relying on a fixed format. Two sorting templates are included at different levels of complexity, and cards are available in colour and black and white.
