These open-ended templates can be used in your multiplication lessons.

Students roll a 9-sided die - this is the number of groups to make.
Flip one of your number cards (2, 3, 5 or 10) to determine the number of objects in each group.
Next, decide what the objects and groups are e.g. eggs in baskets
Record your grouping problem on the recording page e.g. 5 baskets of 2 eggs is 10 eggs
Complete for all four number cards (2, 3, 5 or 10)
