These activity cards allow students to use a collection of objects and find the fraction of each object. They reinforce the understanding of what the numerator and denominator are and use this knowledge to create fractions.
These cards are differentiated- students are given the denominator on card 1, the opportunity to simplify the fractions on card 2 and working out the denominator and finding the equivalent fractions on card 3.
Great for Maths groups or as an independent activity.
