Students choose a number between 25 and 35 and write it at the top of the page. They create that many ‘bugs’ out of playdoh (or use the provided bug templates).

Students begin by putting their ‘bugs' into equal groups of 2 before working out how many groups they can make and if there are left overs or not. They complete the row on their worksheet about groups of 2.

They work their way down the worksheet, creating groups of each number given and fill in the answers on the sheet.

Includes bug templates in colour or black & white.
