These decodable sentence task cards with CVCC and CCVC Short O words are a great Kindergarten and Grade 1 phonics activity. Students will consolidate early letter sound knowledge, phonics skills and early sentence writing conventions as they read CVCC words and CCVC words in the context of decodable sentences.
How to use:
1. Students read the decodable sentence (with a CVCC or CCVC word picture)
2. Students build the CVCC CCVC word with alphabet manipulatives (or they could write the word)
3. Students write the full decodable sentence.
