Are you looking for low-prep decodable sentence activities for your Kindergarten phonics lessons? These decodable CVC sentence writing cards can be used in a variety of ways to develop blending & segmenting, phonics fluency and sentence writing skills.

68 decodable sentence cards are included in two formats:

READ the sentences - use for decodable reading activities OR as self-check/answer cards.
READ, MATCH and WRITE the sentences - match the decodable sentences to the corresponding pictures, then write the sentence.
The decodable sentences are formed with Set 3 focus sounds: j f v n e k w z as well as consolidation of Set 1 sounds: s a t p i n m g and Set 2 Sounds: r o l d b h u c. They also include some common high-frequency words with tricky spellings (heart words).

These cards will help students decode CVC words in context, and spell CVC words in context.
