Get students up and moving as they read, compare, and race to the finish in this fast-paced decimals board game for hundredths.
Each player flips a card, reads their decimal aloud, and the player with the greater decimal rolls the die and moves forward. Special squares add a game element — roll again, move forward, or move backward — keeping every round unpredictable. Cards are written in a mix of decimal notation and word form, including both hundredths-only form (e.g. "six hundredths") and combined form (e.g. "forty-three hundredths"), so students practise reading and comparing across representations as they play.
The game works for pairs or small groups and requires only a die and counters, making it easy to set up at a maths rotation.
What's included:
2 game boards — coloured and black & white versions
60 number cards covering decimals from hundredths through to ones (e.g. 0.06, 0.47, 1.35, 3.82, 4.67) in a mix of decimal notation and word form
