Students will consolidate early letter sound knowledge, phonics skills and early sentence conventions as they decode CVC words in the context of decodable sentences.
Students work out the missing CVCC or CCVC word on each task card, then trace or copy the full decodable sentence to reinforce spelling and handwriting.
60 task cards are included in total, with 12 decodable sentences for each short vowel sound (a, e, i, o and u).
