CURRICULUM OUTCOMES
Australian Curriculum:
Recognise, represent and order numbers to at least 1000 using physical and virtual materials, numerals and number lines (AC9M2N01)
Partition, rearrange, regroup and rename two- and three-digit numbers using standard and non-standard groupings, recognise the role of a zero digit in place value notation (AC9M2N02)
NSW Curriculum (REPRESENTING WHOLE NUMBERS B):
Outcomes:
Applies an understanding of place value and the role of zero to read, write and order two- and three-digit numbers (MA1-RWN-01)
Reasons about representations of whole numbers to 1000, partitioning numbers to use and record quantity values (MA1-RWN-02)
Content:
Use counting sequences of ones and tens flexibly:
Identify the number before and after a given three-digit number
Count forwards and backwards by tens, on and off the decade, with two- and three- digit numbers
Identify how many more to the next multiple of ten within two- and three- digit numbers
