Get students up and moving as they work out the missing qu, ng or x word on each task card, then trace or copy the full decodable sentence to reinforce spelling and handwriting. Students will consolidate early letter sound knowledge, phonics skills and early sentence conventions as they decode consonant digraph words in the context of decodable sentences.
Colour picture support and colour-coded borders make the cards easy to sort and use by difficulty.
45 task cards are included in total, with 24 decodable sentences using words with 3 sounds and 21 using words with 4 or more sounds, so you can match the difficulty to where your students are at.
