This resource is inside The Hive, along with thousands more, plus powerful digital tools and time-saving systems.

This two-player game gives students practice listing all possible combinations in a chance context. Players spin to determine how many shirts and shorts are in play each round, then race to record every possible outfit combination before their partner.

How to play:

  • Player 1 spins for shirts and Player 2 spins for shorts

  • Both players place the matching number of clothing cards on the mat, then race to list all possible combinations on their recording sheet

  • The first player to finish calls "Stop!"

  • Players check each other's combinations, swap roles, and play again.

What's included:

  • Version 1 game mats (6 coloured mats, 3 colour options) - spinners numbered 1-3 for both shirts and shorts

  • Version 2 game mats (6 coloured mats, 3 colour options) - spinners numbered 1-4 for both shirts and shorts

  • Black and white versions of all mats included

  • Shirt and shorts picture cards (coloured and black and white versions)

  • Recording sheet for listing combinations

  • Recording sheet with tally table for support - students record the number of shirts and shorts spun and use the table to track each combination systematically
