These classification templates can be used to apply to stones to create a sensory activity for practising colour identificationvocabulary and classifying objects into groups.

 I create these stones using Mod Podge sealer and Tuscan Aztec stones from Bunnings Australia. If you'd prefer not to make stones, this resource also includes sorting cards. 

Objects are included for pink, red, yellow, blue, purple, orange and green. There are matching pictures, so that the stones can also be used for memory games or matching activities.

Sorting mats are included for each colour, as well a variety of objects that the stones could be classified into (living creatures, clothing, cars etc).
