One student rolls a dice and selects a mat with the corresponding number of circles. The second partner rolls the dice and draws the corresponding amount of spots within each circle. Encourage students to arrange the spots in a systematic way.

Students work out the number sentence together: ___ groups of ___ = ___. Then swap roles. \
