Word Mapping Templates

These templates can be used in a variety of ways to support orthographic mapping skills. Orthographic mapping scaffold students as they break apart a word (segment) in order to spell the word. 

• Use in your explicit phonics lessons and small-group phonics instruction to map words with your target phonemes. 
• Use to assess student progress 

3 different versions are included for words with 3 sounds, words with 4 sounds and words with 5 sounds.
