Syllable Picture Cards & Syllable Sorting Mats

Are you teaching syllables? These colourful syllable picture cards and syllable sorting mats can be used to consolidate an understanding of syllables.

 Some ideas for using these syllable cards:

• Sort into syllables using the matching syllable mats
• Count out the number of syllables using different manipulatives e.g. counters, loose parts, stones

150 task cards are included for words with 1, 2, 3 and 4 syllable words.
