Students will love swatting the flies as they read the CVC words. These mats can be used in a variety of ways:

• Students swat the words as they read them
• Use the matching fly word cards – place in a pile and students take it in turns to pick up a card. If they have the matching word on their mat, they can swat that fly or cover it with a counter.
