• words with x (not a digraph but included in this sequence due to its complexity)

Students take it in turns to pick up a butterfly card. If they can read the decodable word, they can place the butterfly in their net. Add whisper phones for an extra bit of fun + engagement! Students could also write the decodable words on their mini-whiteboards.
