Students will LOVE designing a book week costume for their teacher, themselves or a friend. This activity is also a great way to work on descriptive language skills, as students use adjectives and similes to describe their book week costume designs.
Students can draw the teacher’s face, or the teacher can insert an image of their face before printing. Students then draw a Book Week costume for their teacher.

This resource includes a variety of lines sizes and blank templates. It is a PowerPoint file. Select the slide/s that you wish to use, add in photos of faces (options) and then print your selected slides.
Students will love designing Book Week costumes for themselves or their teachers. They can also work on their descriptive language skills as they describe the costume.
